From Chef Chris French:
From the time I was 2, when my mother put me atop a footstool and gave me the first lessons in cooking, I have had a decided penchant for the culinary arts.

Food and Event Planning have always been a passion and love in my life! I have always known that someday I wanted to either own a gourmet deli or catering and event planning company. I said to myself, SELF now is the time to do just that! I finally followed my dream and put myself through culinary school.

I chose the Kitchen Academy in Sacramento: first, for being an accelerated program giving each student a culinary degree upon completion and all of the skills and knowledge needed to start out correctly in the food industry. Secondly, because it is a sister school to the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, I knew that I would get a high quality education in a shorter time frame. I graduated Valedictorian and was honored to speak at our graduation in August 2008.  Now with several years of catering and restaurant experience, I have everything ready to compose and complete YOUR dream party!
